We are delighted to welcome Bharti Bharti, who joined Intelligent Mud Solutions as a Research & Development Engineer on 01 September 2025.

Bharti holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics (Fluid Mechanics) from the National Institute of Technology Patna, India, where her research focused on the electrophoresis of weakly charged particles in complex fluid systems. She has since built a strong international academic career, including a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Oslo, where she specialised in mathematical modelling of complex fluid dynamics as part of the Soft Wetting project, and a visiting researcher position in France at Laboratoire Ondes et Matière d’Aquitaine (LOMA).
Her research spans computational fluid dynamics (CFD), multiphase flows, instability in flows, and mathematical modelling, with numerous publications in leading journals such as Soft Matter, Langmuir, Physical Review Research, and Journal of Molecular Liquids. Beyond academia, Bharti has also taught mathematics and contributed to international collaborations on advanced fluid mechanics.
At IMS, Bharti will strengthen our R&D team, contributing her expertise in fluid modelling, coding, and applied mathematics to enhance the development of real-time drilling fluid analysis technologies. Her ability to bridge theoretical models with practical applications will support IMS’s mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions for drilling fluid monitoring and automation.
We are excited to see the impact Bharti will bring to IMS and the broader drilling community.
Welcome to the team, Bharti
