My Internship Journey with Intelligent Mud Solutions

My name is Nader Mohamed Nour, and I am a Cloud Engineering student with a strong interest in building web applications and understanding how cloud systems work. During my internship at Intelligent Mud Solutions, I gained valuable hands-on experience with modern development tools, full-stack development, and cloud technologies.

Full-Stack CRUD Application

During my internship, I built a complete CRUD application using React for the frontend and Python Flask for the backend, connected to Microsoft SQL Server. Starting from scratch, I implemented:

• User management with add, update, delete, and fetch operations

• Multi-page navigation using React Router

• Real-time data fetching and form handling with controlled components

• Debugging of complex state issues, CORS configuration, and API integration

This project gave me a strong understanding of the full data flow, from database queries to dynamic user interfaces.

Cloud Infrastructure

I also had the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to Azure cloud services.

• Researched and deployed applications on Azure Web Apps

• Worked with cloud-hosted applications connected to SQL Server

These experiences helped make cloud deployment much more practical and understandable, and gave me a stronger foundation for building scalable applications.

Key Learnings and Growth

This internship helped me grow both technically and professionally. Some of my key takeaways include:

• Problem-solving: Learning to fix issues step by step across API endpoints, state management, and data validation

• Full-stack mindset: Understanding how frontend, backend, and database systems work together

• Tool proficiency: Using Postman for API testing, VS Code for debugging, and Git for version control

This experience helped me move quickly from local development to building and understanding cloud-based applications.
